Wizdom International is an independent private consultancy providing international education counselling, career guidance, language-test preparation and general international education and career information.
This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellation and refund requests are handled for services purchased from Wizdom International.
1. Service Fees
Fees paid to Wizdom International are charged for the professional services agreed with the client.
Depending on the selected service, work may include initial consultation, counselling, education or career planning, academic planning, university or course shortlisting, admission-planning guidance, language-test preparation and other agreed consultancy services.
The applicable service scope and professional fees may vary according to the service selected by the client.
Clients should review the agreed service scope and applicable charges before making payment.
2. When Our Service Begins
A service is considered to have started once Wizdom International begins work relating to the agreed service.
This may include activities such as:
- Initial consultation or counselling
- Reviewing information relevant to the client’s enquiry
- Researching suitable education or career options
- University, course or institution shortlisting
- Providing academic or admission-planning guidance
- Providing career-planning guidance
- Scheduling or commencing language-test preparation or coaching
- Other consultancy work included within the agreed service
The amount of work already completed may be considered when reviewing a cancellation or refund request.
3. Cancellation Requests
Clients may request cancellation by contacting Wizdom International through the official contact details published by the company.
Cancellation requests will be reviewed individually based on factors including the selected service, stage of work, services already provided and reasonable costs already incurred.
Submitting a cancellation request does not automatically create eligibility for a full or partial refund.
Any applicable refund will be determined according to this Policy, the agreed service terms and applicable law.
4. Refund Requests
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
When reviewing a refund request, Wizdom International may consider:
- The service purchased
- The stage at which the cancellation request was received
- Consultancy work already completed
- Counselling or consultation already provided
- Research or planning work already completed
- Classes or training sessions already commenced
- Reasonable costs already incurred in providing the agreed service
- Any other relevant circumstances relating to the client’s service
Where a refund is approved, the amount will be determined after considering services already delivered and applicable costs.
5. Independent Third-Party Decisions
Decisions made by educational institutions, employers, examination providers and other independent organisations are outside the control of Wizdom International.
Payment to Wizdom International is for the professional consultancy services agreed with the client. Payment does not determine or influence decisions made independently by another organisation.
A rejection, delay, change in requirements or other decision made by an independent third party does not automatically make Wizdom International’s professional service fee refundable.
Any refund request arising after such a decision will be reviewed according to this Policy and the stage of services already provided.
6. Independent Third-Party Processes
Wizdom International provides independent consultancy and general guidance within the agreed service scope.
Any process administered by an educational institution, employer, examination provider or other independent organisation remains subject to that organisation’s own requirements, procedures and decisions.
Clients are responsible for reviewing current information published by the relevant organisation before taking action.
Changes introduced by an independent organisation do not automatically create eligibility for a refund of professional consultancy fees for services already performed.
7. Admission-Related Decisions
Admission decisions are made independently by the relevant educational institution.
If an institution declines an application, changes its academic requirements, changes programme availability or makes another independent decision, this does not automatically make fees paid to Wizdom International refundable.
Any refund request will be considered according to the service stage, agreed service scope and work already completed.
8. Other Independent Decisions
Assessments, approvals, rejections, delays and other decisions made by independent organisations are outside the control of Wizdom International.
Such a decision does not automatically create eligibility for a refund of professional service fees for consultancy work already performed.
Refund requests in such circumstances will be reviewed individually according to this Policy and the applicable service terms.
9. IELTS and Language-Training Services
Fees paid for IELTS preparation, language coaching or similar training services are generally non-refundable once classes have commenced, subject to applicable law and any written terms agreed with the client.
Before classes begin, cancellation requests may be reviewed individually based on scheduling, resources allocated and services already provided.
If Wizdom International cancels a paid training service before it begins, the applicable amount for the cancelled service will be reviewed for refund or an alternative arrangement may be offered to the client.
10. Third-Party Fees
Fees charged by independent third parties are separate from Wizdom International’s professional service fees.
These may include fees charged by educational institutions, examination providers and other independent service providers.
Where a payment is made directly to a third party, any refund relating to that payment will be subject to the applicable third party’s own refund terms and policies.
Wizdom International does not determine or control refund decisions made independently by third parties.
Clients should confirm applicable third-party fees and refund conditions directly with the relevant organisation where appropriate.
11. Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for providing complete, accurate, genuine and current information.
Clients should promptly inform Wizdom International of any material changes to information relevant to the agreed service.
Wizdom International may be unable to continue providing a service where information supplied by a client is materially incomplete, inaccurate, misleading or fraudulent.
Refund requests in such circumstances will be reviewed based on the agreed service terms, work already completed, reasonable costs already incurred and applicable law.
12. Changes in Third-Party Information
Academic requirements, programme availability, institutional policies, fees, timelines and other third-party information may change from time to time.
Wizdom International may update its general guidance when relevant changes become known.
A change introduced by an educational institution or another independent organisation does not automatically make previously provided professional consultancy services refundable.
Clients should verify important and time-sensitive information directly with the relevant organisation.
13. Refund Processing
If a refund request is approved, Wizdom International will communicate the applicable refund amount to the client.
Approved refunds are generally processed within 10–15 business days after approval.
The time required for the amount to appear in the client’s account may vary depending on the bank, payment provider or payment method used.
Where applicable, a refund may be returned through the original payment method or another mutually agreed method.
14. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund
To request cancellation or a refund, clients should contact Wizdom International through the official contact details published by the company.
The request should include sufficient information to identify the relevant service and payment.
Additional information may be requested where reasonably necessary to review the cancellation or refund request.
15. Policy Updates
Wizdom International may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in services, operational practices or applicable requirements.
The current version will be published on this page together with the updated Last Updated date.
Changes to this Policy will apply subject to applicable law and any existing contractual rights.
